The tomb of the pharaoh and queen of the ancient Egyptians built the pyramids. End the pyramid pharaohs were buried in many different shapes and sizes of the Middle Kingdom before the start of the Old Kingdom.

There are about 80 known today from the pyramids of ancient Egypt. The beginning of the three largest and best-preserved built in Giza Old Kingdom. The most well-known of these pyramids is designed for law Khufu. This is known as the "Great Pyramid".
